Voice Actor
David Matranga found acting and storytelling at a young age. From school plays to a stint playing piano and trombone, he has always had a deep love for performing. Knowing that acting was his passion, he went on to earn a BFA in Musical Theatre and an MFA in Acting from the Yale School of Drama.
His work has been seen in NYC, LA and on stages all around the country. He has appeared in operas, films, television, commercials—both onscreen and in voiceover – and voiced hundreds of roles in anime and video games. Notable anime and video game roles include Shoto Todoroki in My Hero Academia, Berthold Hoover in Attack on Titan, Nicholas D. Wolfwood in Trigun: Stampede, Ken Masters in Street Fighter 6, as well as Pokemon Masters, Fire Emblem Engage, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderland. David’s reverence for storytelling is a guiding principle of his life, and he feels deeply privileged to have built a career on sharing this love with others. David will be at AnimeCon on all 3 days!
